Training and a minute's silence at Ciudad Deportiva on Thursday

Training on Thursday at the Ciudad Deportiva came after a day off for the Valencia CF squad, and they resumed their work in preparation for the imminent return of LaLiga competition.
Before the session got underway, the players and coaching staff held a minute’s silence in memory of those who have passed away from COVID-19, as part of Spain’s official period of mourning.
Once again, training was split into groups of up to 14 players -a move permitted by LaLiga protocol as of this week, to aid with tactical work and team drills.
Cristiano Piccini was present for the session, watching on as he moves into the second phase of his recovery from surgery last week, in which plates and screws implanted to heal a knee injury were removed.
